In Katana, you can create, edit, and delete variant codes / SKUs to effectively manage individual product variations. By assigning unique variant codes / SKUs, businesses can track inventory more accurately, distinguishing between different product sizes, colors, and other attributes.
To create, edit, or delete a variant code / SKU
Create, edit and delete variant codes from a product or material card.
Create a product or material, or simply navigate to an existing card from the Items screen.
Find the Variant code / SKU column and edit, delete, or create a code.
The new variant code / SKU (or changes done) will be saved automatically.
You can also edit variant codes / SKU for your items in bulk. Read more about updating products and updating materials.
