Duplicate materials to streamline the process of creating similar items with consistent data. By duplicating materials, you can quickly add new entries with pre-filled details like SKU, cost, and stock levels, saving time and ensuring accuracy in your inventory.
All field values (e.g. Category, Unit of Measure, Variant codes / SKU, Purchase prices) and variants are copied to a new material card. The only difference is that 'COPY' will be added to the end of the product's name.
To duplicate a material
Navigate to the Items screen and click on the Materials table. Find your material and click on it to open the material card.
Click on the 3-dots at the top corner of the material card and select Duplicate from the drop-down.
Katana will duplicate the material and open a newly created material card.
