Duplicating a material is an easy way to create a new material with similar attributes to an existing material.
All field values (e.g. Category, Unit of Measure,
Variant codes / SKU, Purchase prices) and variants are copied to a new material card. "COPY" will be added to the end of the material name.
To duplicate a material:
Navigate to the Items screen and click on the Materials table at the top of the table and find your material on the list. Click on the material to open a material card.
Click on 3-dots at the top corner of the material card and select Duplicate from the drop-down.
Katana will duplicate the material and open a newly created material card.
