The Plan screen's replenishment and order suggestions feature helps you to maintain optimal inventory levels by providing automated recommendations based on stock levels, lead times, and demand.

This tool analyzes inventory data to suggest restock quantities, ensuring that you have the right amount of stock on hand to meet customer demand without overstocking. It streamlines the purchasing process, saves time, and helps in maintaining efficient inventory control.

Automated and intelligent suggestions

Replenishment features help to simplify the process of restocking inventory by providing automated suggestions for when and how much to reorder.

Within the Plan screen's Replenishment tab you'll find:

  • Sorted by date - clearly highlights items that need reordering, prioritized based on urgency.

  • Reorder Suggestions - utilizes historical data to recommend reorder quantities in order to maintain optimal inventory levels.

  • Supplier parameters - makes it possible to include variant lead time and minimum order quantity in the replenishment process.

Replenishment orders

Using existing purchase or manufacturing orders, calculations are made based on demand if you're running out of stock. Katana then combines a prioritized list of items by order date and suggests the next orders to avoid any stockouts.
