Deleting a manufacturing order (MO) in Katana is a critical action that directly impacts inventory levels and production schedules. This guide gives an overview of how to delete an MO and the consequent adjustments to stock levels and committed resources.
Deleting an open manufacturing order (MO) will remove it from the Schedule tab and affect stock levels.
Note: Manufacturing orders can't be deleted if they're in a closed inventory period.

Related stock movements
Committed quantities for related materials and subassemblies (based on Product recipe / BOM) will be reduced.
Expected quantity for the product will be decreased.
How to delete a manufacturing order
Navigate to Make screen β Schedule tab.
Find the relevant MO in the list and click on it to open the MO card.
Click on the 3-dots at the top corner of the MO card and select Delete from the drop-down menu.
Click Yes in the pop-up window to delete.
Caution! Deleting a Done MO will also change the stock quantities as In stock will be decreased for the product and increased for the materials and subassemblies included in the Product recipe / BOM.
Deleting manufacturing orders in bulk
You can also delete manufacturing orders in bulk directly from Make screen β Schedule tab by selecting the relevant MOs and clicking on the trash can icon.
