If you see an “Oh no…” error message while opening pages in Katana (e.g., Sell screen, Make screen, manufacturing order cards, or Items), it usually means something in your browser is preventing Katana from loading correctly.

Here’s how to troubleshoot step by step.

1. Check your browser

  • Katana works best with Google Chrome.

  • While other browsers should work, you might be more likely to see errors or glitches.

  • Make sure you’re using the latest version of Chrome.

2. Disable ad-blockers

Some ad-blockers can interfere with Katana’s processes.

  • Disable your ad-blocker while using Katana.

  • Refresh the page and try again.

3. Clear your browser cache

Katana is updated regularly. Sometimes your browser saves older versions of the interface that conflict with new updates.

To clear the cache in Chrome:

  1. Open the Developer Tools:

    • Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + I.

    • Mac: Press Option + Command + I.

    • Alternatively, you can right-click anywhere on the page and select "Inspect".

  2. Right-click the Refresh Button:

In your browser window, locate the refresh icon (the circular arrow next to the address bar) and right-click on it.

  3. Select "Empty Cache and Hard Reload":

A context menu with several options will appear. From this menu, choose "Empty Cache and Hard Reload."

  4. Confirm the Action:

The current page will then reload, forcing Chrome to download all assets fresh and ignore any cached versions.

4. Contact support (if the issue continues)

If you still encounter the error, please contact our support team via in-app chat or email [email protected]
