When using Katana's integration with QuickBooks Online (QBO), it's crucial to understand how to manage and delete financial documents like invoices and bills.
Deleting invoices and bills
Invoices and bills created in QuickBooks via Katana integration can only be deleted inside of QuickBooks.
After a document is deleted in QuickBooks, it may take up to 10 minutes to show this deletion in Katana.
When the deletion reaches Katana, the Invoice status for the sales order will revert to Not invoiced, and the Bill status for a purchase order will also revert to Not billed.
Additional considerations
Timing: After removing a document in QuickBooks Online, there may be a delay of up to 10 minutes for the deletion to reflect in Katana.
Status reversion: Once Katana recognizes the deletion, the status of the associated sales order or purchase order will revert to Not invoiced or Not billed.
Reinvoicing or rebilling: After the status reverts, you can proceed to recreate the invoice or bill as needed.
