Your Shopify POS (Point-of-Sale) orders are imported to Katana similarly to your Shopify online orders or orders from any other sales channel in Shopify.

In Shopify, you can select the fulfillment status for your Shopify POS orders either as a default setting in Shopify or assign it at the moment of placing the order. This setting is available in the Shopify POS app.

- If you have chosen an automatic "Fulfilled" status for your Shopify POS order, then the order is automatically imported to the Done table of the Sell screen in Katana. Stock levels in Katana are reduced immediately for relevant products and the updated stock level is pushed back to Shopify if this function has been enabled for the integration (read more).

- If you have chosen an "Unfulfilled" status for your Shopify POS order, then the order is imported to Katana as an Open Sales order. This is similar to any other "Unfulfilled" Shopify order (e.g. online orders). You can enable the two-way status sync between Katana and Shopify to automatically update the fulfillment status on both sides when the status is updated either in Katana or Shopify (read more).
