JIKKO integration

JIKKO helps to streamline complex manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity

Written by Michael De Giovanni

Streamline complex manufacturing processes and improve productivity by integrating Katana with JIKKO.

What is JIKKO?

JIKKO is a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) developed by OPALYTICA. It acts as a digital twin platform, helping manufacturers optimize production workflows, reduce costs, and boost efficiency.

With real-time data collection, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights, JIKKO can increase productivity by up to 30%.

When connected to Katana, the integration ensures smooth data synchronization and more efficient manufacturing operations.

What the integration enables

Jikko diagram

By connecting Katana with JIKKO, you can:

  • Push data from Katana to JIKKO, including:

    • Manufacturing orders (MOs)

    • Bills of Materials (BOMs) with variants and material details

    • Items (materials and finished products)

  • Create and manage operation routes in JIKKO

    • Operations and statuses stay in sync with Katana

    • BOM consumption is based on real-time material availability

  • Sync order statuses back to Katana

    • Completed operations in JIKKO update material consumption and MO status in Katana

Connecting JIKKO to Katana

  1. Get access

    • Contact JIKKO to create an account and request a free 1-month trial.

  2. Configure the integration

    • In JIKKO, go to Master Data Management > ERP connections.

    • Find and authorize your Katana account.

Master Data Management > ERP connections inside of JIKKO

  3. Start syncing data

    • Once authorized, begin configuring which data to import (items, BOMs, or MOs).

That’s it — Katana is now connected to JIKKO and ready for data exchange.

How the integration works

  • Data import: Push items, BOMs, and MOs from Katana to JIKKO.

  • Production workflows: Build BOMs and operation routes in JIKKO to visualize and manage production.

  • Status sync: Once operations are completed in JIKKO, MO statuses and material consumption are updated back in Katana automatically.
