If you'd like to analyze stock transfer data further outside of Katana, you can easily export the stock transfer into a CSV or xlsx file and examine it in a spreadsheet.

Note: Value columns will not be included in the exported file if the user doesn't have the view cost and stock value permission.

Where to export from

  1. Go to Stock screen β†’ Stock transfers tab.

  2. Choose either the Open or Done table β€” whichever contains the transfers you want to export.

How to export the data

  1. Optionally filter or select specific transfers to narrow down the results.

  2. Click the Export button at the top-right.

  3. Choose your preferred format: CSV or XLSX.

Tip: If you apply filters or manually select transfers, the export will include only those items - not the entire list.

Permission & data included

  • To view cost and value columns in the export, ensure you have the View cost and stock value permission.

  • If you lack this permission, those columns will be excluded from the export file.
