If the Product recipe of one product is similar to another, a quick way to create a recipe is to copy it from the other product. It will help you avoid the manual work of adding all ingredients again individually.

  1. At the Product recipe page for a product, click on Copy recipe from at the top right corner of the ingredients table.

  2. Search for the product that you want to use as a template.

  3. If you already entered ingredients to the current product's recipe, you will be asked to confirm the copy action as your current recipe will be overwritten.

  4. If the variant structure of the current product is different from the variant structure of the product you are using as a template for the Product recipe, you can choose whether you want to also copy the variant structure from the other product or not.

Please note that the variant structure of the current product will be overwritten if you choose to also copy the variant setup from the other product.
