Export product recipes / bills of materials (BOMs) to spreadsheets for comprehensive data analysis and management. This helps businesses efficiently review and modify their manufacturing components and quantities, supporting better inventory control and production planning.
From the Items screen, you can export all or specific product Recipes / BOM to a file. You can then use that file to make changes to product recipes in bulk by editing the file and importing the recipes back into Katana.
To export product recipes
Navigate to the Items screen.
Select the products that you want to export the product recipe for.
Click the export icon.
In the dropdown, select Recipes/BOMs.xlsx or Recipes/BOMs.csv.
