Control whether Payment pending orders from Shopify are imported to Katana.
Default behavior
When your Shopify store is connected to Katana:
All open sales orders (SOs) with a Paid payment status are automatically imported.
You can choose whether or not to also import Payment pending orders.
Why you might disable payment pending orders
By default, importing any SO into Katana creates commitments for:
Products already in stock.
Ingredients needed for production (based on the product recipe / BOM).
If Payment pending orders are imported:
Katana will reserve stock or production capacity for them.
This may cause issues if you want to commit resources only after payment is confirmed.
Disabling Payment pending imports prevents these commitments until the order is paid.
How to enable/disable payment pending imports
Open the Shopify configuration page inside Katana's Integration Marketplace.
Click on the Orders tab and check/uncheck "Payment pending" orders under Order status.
You can adjust this setting at any time.
