Syncing fulfillment statuses between BigCommerce and Katana

With two-way sync, you can keep fulfillment updates consistent across Katana and BigCommerce. Once enabled, changes made in one system will automatically update in the other.


How fulfillment statuses sync

  1. Partially Delivered in Katana β†’ No change in BigCommerce

    • If a sales order (SO) is marked as Partially Delivered in Katana, the status in BigCommerce will remain unchanged.

  2. Delivered in Katana β†’ Completed in BigCommerce

    • When an SO is marked Delivered in Katana, the fulfillment status in BigCommerce updates to Completed.

  3. Completed in BigCommerce β†’ Delivered in Katana

    • If an SO is marked as Completed in BigCommerce, Katana will update the Delivery status to Delivered.

  4. Fulfillment started in BigCommerce (batch-trackable items)

    • If fulfillment is initiated in BigCommerce and the SO contains batch-trackable items, Katana automatically assigns batches using the FIFO (first-in, first-out) method. Learn more
