If you're using multiple locations in Katana, this permission allows you to manage who can access different locations. The Location access permission is useful to protect sensitive information and unauthorized changes in data.

Those with this permission enabled can view and edit information on particular locations. The overall visibility and workflow access for the user will also depend on the other permissions the user has.

If a location is restricted for a user, all orders, documents, and stock information for that location will be inaccessible.

By default, users will have access to all locations.

Note: Each user will need to be able to access at least one location.

How permissions are distributed/edited

Permissions are initially chosen when a user is invited to Katana, but they can be updated at any time from the Team page by clicking on the user's name.
