Katana's integration with Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) enables automated syncing of inventory and shipped orders to Katana. This integration automated inventory reconciliation and SKU matching.

Key features

  • Automated importing of shipped orders from Amazon

  • Products are imported from Amazon

    • Matched by SKU. If no matches are found, a new product is created in Katana

  • Designated location created in Katana to reflect Amazon FBA's inventory

  • Automated inventory reconciliation

    • Schedule Katana to regularly check that stock levels match between Amazon and Katana (reconciliation can be done manually as well)

  • Shipped orders in Amazon are synced to Katana as delivered orders

Requirements

To connect this integration, you will need to have a couple of things prepared beforehand, such as:

  • An Amazon Seller account

  • Active listings on your Amazon Seller account

Integration setup

  1. Initiate a connection

    1. Choose your marketplace region/country

    2. Create/name a Katana location for where the inventory in your Amazon FBA account will be sent

    3. Authorize the connection in Amazon

  2. Product mapping and importing

    1. Products are matched by SKU between Amazon and Katana

      1. If SKUs don't currently match, you have the opportunity to upload a spreadsheet and match SKUs

    2. Import products from Amazon

  3. Set inventory reconciliation

    1. To ensure that external stock from Amazon is matching Katana's in stock quantities, you can set up a scheduled reconciliation (or run it manually whenever you need).

  4. Activation

    1. Once you're sure everything is set up correctly, click Activate sync at the top of the screen to finish up the connection.
