Any Amazon marketplace that you connect with Katana will receive a dedicated Katana location. Inventory syncs one-way (from Amazon FBA to Katana), and this location reflects Amazon FBA inventory status directly in Katana.
If the integration sync is activated, Fulfillable (available for sale) quantities of Amazon FBA inventory are automatically pulled in and displayed in Katana's Stock screen as External inventory (found in the External column). This column allows you to monitor in real time the available stock in Amazon.
Automatic reconciliation
The integration won't directly overwrite Katana’s in-stock level, but will provide a reconciliation process that periodically adjusts Katana’s stock to match Amazon's.
In the Inventory reconciliation section of the configuration page, you can set the schedule for the automatic stock adjustment that aligns Katana’s in stock.
To set a schedule, you'll need to specify:
The frequency: weekly or daily
the day of the week (for weekly frequency)
The time of day
Once the integration sync is activated, Katana will run the reconciliation at the next scheduled time. Each scheduled check will create a stock adjustment document if discrepancies are detected.
Manual reconciliation
If you click on Run reconciliation now, the reconciliation process will start immediately. This doesn't affect any scheduled reconciliations.
