How to add address information to a purchase order (PO)

Easily add shipping and billing addresses to POs for accurate order documentation.

Ensure your purchase orders (POs) are properly documented by including billing and shipping addresses. While these addresses aren’t visible on the PO card inside Katana, they will appear on the printed or PDF version of the PO.


What appears on printed/PDF purchase orders

When you print or save a PO as a PDF, two address fields will appear:

Bill to and Ship to addresses for printing

Bill to address

  • This shows your company’s legal name and billing address.

  • It’s pulled from your Account settings in Katana.

  • To update it, click your name in the top right and choose Account.

Ship to address

  • This is the receiving location for the order.

  • It is based on the Location selected when creating the PO.

  • You can edit this from: Settings → Locations


Notes & best practices

  • These addresses do not appear on the editable PO card in the app.

  • They only show up on printed or saved versions of the PO.

  • Be sure to keep your Account and Location details up-to-date to ensure accurate documentation.
