In Katana, you can print your purchase-related documents in three different formats or save them as PDFs. These are useful for sending to suppliers, organizing warehouse receiving, or maintaining documentation.

Available print formats

Here are the three formats you can choose from:

Purchase Order (PO)

Example of a purchase order printout
  • Includes all data from the PO card.

  • Shows supplier, order lines, quantities, additional costs, and location.

  • Ideal for sending to suppliers when placing an order.

  • Can also be done with POs that are received in multiple parts

Request for Quote (RFQ)

Example of a request for quote printout
  • Same layout as the PO format but excludes prices and cost data.

  • Useful for collecting pricing offers from suppliers before finalizing an order.

Put-away List

Example of a put-away list printout
  • Includes all ordered items with their quantities.

  • Displays the default storage bin for each item to aid warehouse organization.

Note: All formats include your company’s legal name, address, and the location assigned to the PO.
