Deleting a stock adjustment

Delete a stock adjustment to remove it from the stock adjustments table and reverse any adjustments it made

Deleting a stock adjustment (SA) in Katana allows you to remove unwanted or erroneous inventory changes from your records. This article explains how to find and delete stock adjustments from the Stock adjustments tab, effectively reversing any inventory modifications previously applied.

Note: You won't be able to delete a stock adjustment once the inventory period has closed.

To delete a Stock adjustment

  1. Click on the Stock screen, select the Stock adjustments tab, find your adjustment in the table and click on it to open the SA card.

  2. In the SA card, click on the 3-dots at the top corner and select Delete from the drop-down menu.

  3. When the pop-up window appears, click Yes to delete.
