Learn how to disable item batch tracking while managing historical batch data.

Disabling item batch tracking will delete all associated batch information for that item. It's crucial to export historical batch data before turning off this feature. This ensures that important tracking information is preserved even after batch tracking is disabled.

You can enable and disable batch tracking at the item level.

NOTE: We recommend extreme caution before turning off batch tracking for an item. All batch tracking information (including all variants of the item) will be DELETED

If you've enabled item batch tracking and created batch numbers in Katana, disabling batch tracking deletes the existing batch tracking information from Katana for that item.

Before disabling, we recommend exporting the historical batch tracking info to a CSV file.
