Deleting products helps maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory by removing items that are no longer in use. This process involves selecting the product and confirming its deletion, which also ensures that all related inventory and sales data are cleaned up.

You can delete products individually or in bulk.

To delete products individually

  1. Navigate to the Items screen and find the product from the Products table. Click on the product to open the product card.

Regardless of deleting individually or in bulk, Katana will notify you if a product is currently used on any open orders or product recipes. Products can still be deleted if they are actively used. On orders, a deleted item will show a strikethrough.
