Editing a single product

Example of a Product card
  1. Navigate to the Items screen:

    • Go to the Items screen and select the Products tab.

    • Click on the product you wish to edit to open its product card.

  2. Make changes:

    • General info: Modify fields such as Product name, Category, Make and/or Buy options, Batch tracking, Unit of Measure, Variant codes / SKU, Variants, Sales prices, Purchase prices, Default storage bin, Default supplier.

    • Product recipe: Update ingredients and quantities as needed.

    • Production operations: Adjust operation steps, assigned resources, costs, and durations.

  3. Automatic saving:

    • Changes are saved automatically. A confirmation message "All changes saved" will appear at the top right corner of the product card.

Note: Updating a product's recipe or operations does not automatically update existing manufacturing orders (MOs). To apply changes to open MOs, open the MO and click Refresh when prompted.

Editing a product's sales price

Shows how to edit sales prices on a product card

If you edit the sales price on a product card, it changes the default sales price for new SOs and updates the price shown in the product and inventory lists. It will not affect existing SOs.

Product sales prices can be changed on SOs, but this doesn't affect the default sales price on the product card.

From the product card, you can bulk update the sales price of variants
