Duplication allows you to quickly create a new product by copying an existing one. This process is ideal for creating similar items with minimal effort, ensuring consistent data and saving time on manual entry.
All field values (e.g. Category, Unit of measure, Variant codes, Safety stock levels, Sales prices), Variants, Product recipe, and Production operations are duplicated to the new product card. The only difference is that 'COPY' will be added to the end of the product's name.
To duplicate a product
Open the Items screen and find the product from the Products table. Click on the product to open its product card.
Click on the 3-dots at the top corner of the product card and select Duplicate from the drop-down menu.
Katana will duplicate the product and open a newly created product card.
