Copy product recipes / bills of materials (BOM) from one product to another to streamline the process of creating recipes. This ensures consistency and saves time by allowing you to duplicate existing recipes and make necessary adjustments for new products or variants.

To copy a product recipe

  1. On the Product recipe / BOM tab of a product card, click on Copy recipe from at the top right corner of the ingredients table.

  2. Search for the product you want to use as a template.

  3. If you entered ingredients to the current product's recipe, you will be asked to confirm the copy action as your current recipe will be overwritten.

  4. If the variant structure of the current product is different from the variant structure of the product you are using as a template for the product recipe, you can choose whether you want to copy the variant structure from the other product.

Note: The variant structure of the current product will be overwritten if you copy the variant setup from the other product.
