You can delete production operations for a single product or multiple products at once in Katana. This helps you maintain a clean and up-to-date setup by removing operations that are no longer needed.

Note: If you can't see the option to create or edit production operations, check your user permissions.

Deleting operations for a single product

To delete production operations from one product:

  1. Go to the Items screen.

  2. Select the product from the list.

If the product has multiple variants, selecting one will open the product card for all variants.

  3. On the product card, click the Production operations tab (make sure "Make" is enabled).

  4. Click the 3-dot menu (โ‹ฎ) in the top-right corner of the operations table.

  5. Choose Delete to remove all operation steps for that product.

Note: If the product has multiple variants, this action deletes production operations for all variants.

Note: This does not affect any existing manufacturing orders (MOs).

To update or remove operations for open MOs, open the MO and click Refresh data at the bottom of the screen.

Bulk deleting operations (multiple products)

To delete operations for multiple products at once:

  1. Go to the Items screen.

    Shows the Items screen selected

  2. Select the products you want to update.

    • You can also leave all unselected to delete operations for every product.
