Headers and footers allow you to add repeatable content — like your company logo, contact details, or shipping info — that appears on every page of a PDF template. Here’s how to update them in Katana’s PDF Editor.

How to access the header and footer areas

  1. Open the PDF Editor

    • Go to SettingsPrint templates

    • Click the 3-dot menu on a template and choose Edit

  2. Open the layout view

    • In the PDF Editor, observe the header and footer in the template

Editing content in header or footer

  • Drag and drop components (text, image, barcode, etc.) into the Header or Footer sections.

  • Use the Style toolbar to format fonts, spacing, or alignment.

  • Place your company logo, address, contact info, or shipping terms into these zones as needed.

  • To edit existing components, click on them and modify values or formatting via the right-hand sidebar.

Content added to these sections will:

  • Appear on all pages of your printout

  • Maintain a consistent, professional layout across long or multi-page documents
