Headers and footers allow you to add repeatable content — like your company logo, contact details, or shipping info — that appears on every page of a PDF template. Here’s how to update them in Katana’s PDF Editor.
How to access the header and footer areas
Open the PDF Editor
Go to Settings → Print templates
Click the 3-dot menu on a template and choose Edit
Open the layout view
In the PDF Editor, observe the header and footer in the template
Editing content in header or footer
Drag and drop components (text, image, barcode, etc.) into the Header or Footer sections.
Use the Style toolbar to format fonts, spacing, or alignment.
Place your company logo, address, contact info, or shipping terms into these zones as needed.
To edit existing components, click on them and modify values or formatting via the right-hand sidebar.
Content added to these sections will:
Appear on all pages of your printout
Maintain a consistent, professional layout across long or multi-page documents
