Update your Xero integration settings in Katana by disconnecting and reconnecting.

Why reconfigure Xero?

After the initial connection, Katana does not provide a separate configuration screen for Xero. If you want to:

  • Change your ledger account or tax mappings

  • Update integration settings

  • Re-import customers or suppliers

…you’ll need to disconnect and reconnect the integration.

How to reconfigure

  1. Go to Integration Marketplace in Katana.

  2. Find Xero under Connected Integrations.

  3. Click Disconnect.

  4. In the Integrations Marketplace, find Xero and click reconnect your Xero account by clicking Connect.

Note: Katana remembers your previous mappings. When reconnecting, they will be pre-filled, allowying you to edit them as needed.

Reimporting customers and suppliers

In the final step of the setup, if you choose to import all customers and suppliers, Katana will re-sync contact details from Xero.

Updated fields include:

  • Customer: First Name, Last Name, Company Name, all Shipping addresses, all Billing addresses, Phone number

  • Supplier: First Name, Last Name, Phone number

What happens after reconfiguration

  • Your new ledger account and tax mappings are applied.

  • Customer and supplier records are refreshed with the latest data from Xero.

  • Invoices and bills already created remain in Xero, but new ones will follow the updated configuration.
