Disconnecting a Shopify integration removes Katana's authorization on the Shopify store and stops all data flow between the two systems. Use it when you want to permanently stop the integration, are switching to a different Katana account, or are uninstalling Katana from a store you no longer use.
Before you disconnect
A disconnect is not reversible โ reconnecting won't automatically restore your previous configuration. The configuration is maintained in Katana, so reconnecting the same store will preserve mappings and settings, but the integration will start fresh in Not Connected state.
A disconnect also:
Stops order sync immediately. New Shopify orders will not be delivered to Katana.
Stops inventory level pushes from Katana to Shopify.
Does not delete sales orders, customers, products, or stock that is already in Katana.
How to disconnect
In Katana, open the Shopify integration's configuration page.
Open the โฎ menu in the header (next to the X close button).
Click Disconnect.
Confirm.
If the sync is active, the same menu also offers a Pause sync option โ it stops live data flow but keeps the connection so you can resume it later without re-authorizing.
What happens after disconnecting
The Katana app uninstalls from the Shopify store.
The Shopify integration tile in the Marketplace shows Not Connected.
The configuration page is unavailable until you reconnect.
Reconnecting
You can reconnect the same Shopify store (or a different one) at any time by clicking Connect from the Integrations Marketplace. Reconnecting the same store will reuse the configuration and SKU mapping you had before; reconnecting a different store starts fresh.
