Use storage bins in Katana to organize inventory inside a warehouse, making stock management and retrieval faster and more accurate. Bins are always linked to a location, so you can track where items are stored at each warehouse or site.

You can also create a new bin directly from a product or material’s Item card:

  • Open the item card.

  • Navigate to the Storage bin field.

  • Enter a new bin name to create and assign it at the same time.

Next steps

  • Assign default bins per variant per location so items always have a defined storage spot.
