How to connect HubSpot to Katana

Seamlessly connect HubSpot with Katana to sync deals, customers, and products for streamlined order and inventory management.


Before you begin

  • You need a HubSpot Professional plan or higher.

  • The connection process takes only a few minutes.


Step 1: Start the connection

  1. In Katana, click the puzzle icon in the top navigation bar to open the Integration Marketplace.

  2. Find the HubSpot card and click Connect.


Step 2: Log in and approve permissions

  • You’ll be prompted to either log in to HubSpot or select Choose Account to pick your HubSpot account.

  • Katana will request the following access:

    • Read deals, products, contacts, and companies

    • Read and write deal properties

    • Read and write product properties

  • Review and approve the permissions.

Step 3: Configure the setup

Once approved, you’ll be redirected to Katana’s HubSpot setup page, where you can:

  • Choose which workflows (e.g., pipeline stages) should trigger the creation of sales orders.

  • Define how data is mapped between HubSpot and Katana (e.g., deal line items → products, contacts → customers).
