When planning out your inventory, not every item necessarily needs the same level of attention. This is why you can implement ABC tagging to help filter items by a classification you establish.
Why use ABC classification?
Focus your planning on what matters most
Filter the Plan screen by a letter tag to see only those items, eliminating the need for endless scrolling.A single shared system across the entire team
With the classification visible to everyone, it's easy to differentiate which are more important than others or simply classified differently.
Classifying products/variants
To get started, open a Product card and you'll find a Replenishment tab.
Use the top ABC options to establish the classification at the product level (all variants will receive this classification).
If you want to give specific variants a different ABC classification, go down to the Variants table and select A, B, or C for the variant(s) you want to have a different classification from the product-level.
Note: The manual setting in the Variants table will override the product-level setting, even if you later change the ABC setting.
ABC classification in the Plan screen
Once you've classified some or all of your products, you'll be able to use the ABC filter on the Plan screen.
Simply head over to the Plan screen and filter by A, B, or C to see products/variants that fit that classification. You can then set up specific inventory planning without needing to focus on the complexity of all products at once.
