If you need to transfer stock from one bin to another, you can do so easily via a bin transfer.
Create a bin transfer
Open the Stock screen and select the Bin transfers tab.
Click + Bin transfer.
On the bin transfer card, select the warehouse where the transfer will occur (transfers are not available between different warehouses).
Add an item, select the origin bin and enter the quantity to transfer.
(Optional) Tracked items.
If you're transfering batch-tracked items traced:
Click on the arrow to the left from of the item name or click the traceability indicator (yellow triangle).
Input batches and quantities, only batches and quantities from the selected bin will be shown.
When added batches quantities match the quantity to transfer, the traceability indicator goes green.
If you're transfering serial number tracked items:
Choose a destination bin.
If you want to transfer the same item into multiple destination bins, add it to different rows as many times as many destination bins you need.
When you're ready, change bin transfer's status to Done.
(Optional) You can then print out a bin transfer document.
Note: Bin transfers are only possible within a single location. For cross-location moves, a stock transfer is required.
Unassigned stock
If you have stock that is in an unassigned state (not linked to any bin), you'll need to create bin transfers from Unassigned to a named bin. A convenient way to achieve this is through a bulk transfer.
Bulk transfer from the Stock screen
You can move multiple items into bins at once directly from the Stock screen. Select the items you want to move, choose Transfer from the top of the table and then select Bin from the dropdown. A pop-up will appear where you can choose Start empty or Move to each SKU's default bin.
If default bins are already assigned, the destination bin is prefilled for each line
If not, you can select a destination bin on the bin transfer card — all quantities will be prefilled with Unassigned quantities
