Easily transfer stock with assigned batch numbers between different locations in Katana. This ensures consistent traceability and precise inventory tracking.
Why it matters
If you track batches for products or materials, those batches must be preserved and correctly assigned during stock transfers. This allows:
Full traceability across your warehouse network
Accurate stock levels by location
No accidental batch duplication
Note: You cannot create new batches during a transfer β only existing batches can be moved.
Important notes
A batch can exist at multiple locations (e.g., Batch
01-234
might have 5 pcs at Location A and 6 pcs at Location B).Batch-tracking info must be added for each line item with batch tracking enabled.
