Katana's Shop Floor Control (SFC) app allows you to mark tasks as Finished, but sometimes you may need to undo that action. This guide explains how to revert completed tasks, who can do it, and from where.
Revert immediately after completing a task
If a task was just marked Finished in the Shop Floor App, a 5-second Undo button will appear on the screen.
How to revert it immediately:
Tap Undo within 5 seconds.
The task will return to its previous status (usually In progress or Not started).
If you miss the 5-second window, you cannot undo the task from the Shop Floor App.
Revert a Done task from the Katana main site
If the Undo window has passed, a user with access to the Katana MRP main site must manually revert the task.
Who can do this:
Account owners
Users with access to Manufacturing Orders (MOs)
Steps to revert from the Katana main site:
Go to the Make screen and open the related manufacturing order (MO).
Locate the operation that was marked as Done.
Change the task status back to In progress or Not started.
