To display tasks in the Shop Floor App, you must assign Shop Floor Operators to tasks in Katana.

Operators are assigned to tasks, which are individual operations on open manufacturing orders (MOs). You can assign tasks:

  • Directly from the MO card,

  • From the Tasks tab in the Make screen,

  • Or in bulk.

Tip: You can also map default operators to resources to streamline task assignments.

What happens after assignment?

  • Assigned tasks will appear in each operator’s Shop Floor App.

  • If multiple operators are assigned to the same task, all of them can view and complete it.

  • Operators only see tasks they’ve been assigned to.
