Clearing all data from your account

Clear all data from your Katana account to reset your system and start fresh with new inventory and operational settings.

Katana provides an option to clear all data from your account, allowing you to remove all existing inventory, orders, and settings. This is useful for businesses that need to reset their system and start anew. By clearing data, you can eliminate outdated information and prepare your account for new data entry and inventory management. Ensure you back up necessary data before performing this action to avoid permanent loss.

If you entered data to Katana for testing purposes, made a mistake in data import, or just want a fresh start, you can delete all data from your account.

Note: This option is only available to account owners (whoever created the account).

  1. Navigate to Settings screen

  2. Click on Clear data from the left-side menu

  3. Click Yes, please delete everything

  4. You will be asked to enter your account's email address to confirm the deletion. This step is added as an additional security measure to prevent the accidental deletion of data.

Your account is now clear. Start adding products, materials, product recipes, and production operations to get the account set up for your business.
