To keep your Katana account secure, all passwords must meet the following requirements:

Password requirements

Your password must include:

  • At least 8 characters

  • At least one lowercase letter (a–z)

  • At least one uppercase letter (A–Z)

  • At least one number (0–9)

Special characters (e.g., ! @ # $ %) are optional but recommended for stronger security.

When do these rules apply?

  • When creating a new account: You won’t be able to complete the signup without meeting these requirements.

  • When changing your password: The same rules apply if you reset or update your password later.

Tips for a strong password

  • Avoid using personal info like birthdays or names.

  • Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.

  • Consider using a password manager to generate and store secure passwords.
