PrestaShop is one of the most popular self-hosted or cloud-hosted eCommerce shopping carts. This guide will help you to set up the integration with PrestaShop via Extensiv Integration Manager. With this integration you can:

  • Import Sales orders and related customer address data from PrestaShop to Katana

  • Auto-create missing products from PrestaShop to Katana

  • Sync updated inventory levels from Katana to PrestaShop

You can use a similar approach for importing Sales orders to Katana from other apps available in Extensiv. To learn more about Extensiv, check our Extensiv Integration Manager overview.

Setting up the integration between PrestaShop and Katana

  1. Create Extensiv account and log in to get started. Connecting Extensiv to Katana will only take a few minutes through our step-by-step guide.

  2. Once the Extensiv integration is established, head to Extensiv and select Carts from the menu on the left. Next, click New Setup and find PrestaShop from the list of available carts.

  3. In the New PrestaShop Setup screen, fill-in the API information. Follow this detailed guide to get help generating a new Webservice key.

  4. Adjust the settings in your PrestaShop Cart Setup to match your preferences:

    • Order status ID options are covered on this page. This sets how Sales order statuses update between systems.

    • Enable Order Split Mode if your PrestaShop uses a marketplace add-on or app to split orders. This will allow Extensiv to pull each resulting part of the orders.

    • Translate item’s code — Extensiv Integration Manager can translate item codes to aliases before sending them to Katana. The default value of WMS Master SKU will automatically search through item aliases and, if a match is found, convert items to the WMS/Katana primary SKU before sending the order to your Katana account. Read more about product aliases here.

    • Verify Addresses (per order fee) - Extensiv offers a service for correcting/standardizing addresses using CASS Certification. Address Verification charges per order lookup (see rates here).

Tip: Customize the integration and adjust fields according to your preference. To read more about each setting, hover the mouse over the ? icon

  5. At the last step of settings configuration, review the Katana WMS Information block

    • Auto Create Missing Katana Products — If you select Yes, Extensiv will be unable to determine variant items from order data, so any products added to Katana will be added as new products, not variants

    • Create Customer Addresses — If Extensiv creates a new customer in Katana, choose whether order processing billing and shipping information should be included in the customer profile.

  6. Verify that the connection works by clicking Test at the bottom of the page. If the test is successful, click OK to save your changes.

Ta-da 💃 — Your setup for importing Sales orders from PrestaShop to Katana and updating inventory levels automatically in PrestaShop is ready.

NOTE: Extensiv to Katana integrations do not support Sales order fulfillment status updates, Shipping tracking, or Returns.

TIP 🍀 If you need any help with the setup or customizing the workflow, the Extensiv team is happy to help. Contact them through Support portal.
