This guide helps you to set up automation through Make.com to export a customer's contacts from Katana to Google Sheets. If you'd like to learn more about Make, check out our Make integration overview.

Setting up this workflow takes less than 15 minutes.

Begin exporting contacts from Katana to Google Sheets:

  1. Prepare the Google Sheet that you'll export Katana contact data to:

    1. Add headers for faster navigation. Customer fields are:

      1. Name, First name, Last name, Company, Email, Currency, Phone, Comment, Default billing address id, Default shipping address id, Addresses, Katana internal ID, created at, updated at

  2. Head to Make and Create a new scenario to connect Katana to Google Sheets.

The first step is to connect Katana as a trigger and List customers' data:

    • Toggle to Map Customer's IDs

    • Review the Limit field to get all contacts results

    • Click OK to save the module setup and proceed to the next step

The next step is to link Google Sheets (action) and Add Rows for each customer record:

    • Map Katana fields from the previous step with relevant headers of a spreadsheet

  3. Run the scenario and your Customer data should import to Google Sheets πŸŽ‰

You can re-use this scenario as many times as you wish. To avoid duplicates, either adjust the field from the first step, "created at min date" to the necessary date and this will only pull in new customers. Alternatively, you can update the module to Watch Customers as it triggers new customers to be added to your Google Sheet.
