Your own AI conversations, directly from inside Katana!

The Access to AI interface permission allows users to have AI conversations directly from within Katana, so you can quickly and easily get answers from your Katana data.

Note: You need to have the <a href="https://support.katanamrp.com/en/articles/15921679-mcp-access-permission">Access to MCP</a><a href="https://support.katanamrp.com/en/articles/15921679-mcp-access-permission"> permission</a> enabled before this permission can be enabled.

Account Owners always have this permission enabled.

Users with unchanged default access do not have this permission.

The Owner can choose to share access with selected Users.

How to enable or disable this permission

Click your profile (top right) → Team.

In the Admin tab, check or uncheck Access to AI interface.

1. Click your profile (top right) → Team.
 
2. Select the user’s name.
 
3. In the Admin tab, check or uncheck Access to AI interface.

Choose Edit under Default permissions.

3. In the Admin tab, check or uncheck Access to AI interface.

Removing this permission will prevent the user from accessing the AI interface.
