Printing task lists can help your production team stay organized and efficient by giving them a physical overview of what needs to be done.

Why print tasks?

Use printed task lists to:

  • Share job lists with shop floor workers.

  • Track progress manually during production.

  • Keep a paper trail for auditing or review purposes.

  3. Select specific tasks using the checkboxes, or leave blank to include all visible tasks.

  4. Click the Print icon (πŸ–¨οΈ) in the upper-right corner of the task table.

  5. Choose a print template from the dropdown list.

  6. A PDF file will open in a new tab β€” now you can print or save the file.

Customizing the task template

Katana provides default task print templates, but you can also create your own custom templates to suit your workflow, including:

  • Additional fields (e.g. due dates, operator names)

  • Company branding or barcodes

  • Notes section for manual updates
