In Katana, you can revert manufacturing orders (MOs) with batch-trackable items from a Done status back to Not Started or Work in Progress. This process adjusts stock movements, returning ingredients to stock and removing finished products. Batch numbers assigned to products and ingredients remain attached to the MO, ensuring continuity and traceability.

If you track batches for a product and/or the ingredients, the selected batches will remain assigned to the product and ingredients on the MO.

Products are removed from the batch, but the batch number remains assigned to the MO. The batch itself will not be removed, even if the stock quantity in the batch is 0.

If you complete the MO again, you won't need to re-assign the batch number as the batch info will remain attached to the MO.
