When setting up and logging into a shop floor operator account in Katana, you may sometimes encounter problems such as lost QR codes, scanning difficulties, or login errors.

This article provides some solutions for the most common problems, ensuring a smooth setup and access process for operators.

Q: I lost my QR code and/or 6-digit login code. Where can I find it?

A: Ask your Katana account owner to provide the codes. Read more about where to find the codes in Katana.

Q: Scanning the QR code doesn't work. What should I do?

  • Make sure that there is a camera on the device and that it is allowed in the browser. Check your camera and/or browser settings if needed.

  • Make sure that there is enough light to scan the code. Clear the lens if necessary.

  • Make sure your internet connection is working, and the connection is stable.

  • If you printed out the QR code, place it on a plain background.

  • Place the QR code on a level surface and make sure it is not shaking.

  • Do not tilt your phone.

  • Make sure your shadow is not covering part of the QR code.

Q: I scanned the QR Code and entered the 6-digit login code, but I get the error message "Login failed". What should I do?

A: You likely entered an incorrect login code. Please try again, and if it still fails, contact your Katana account owner to get the code.
