Connect your Walmart Marketplace store to Katana (via Extensiv Integration Manager) to automate sales and inventory management.

What you can do with this integration

  • Import sales orders from Walmart Marketplace β†’ Katana

  • Match products, customers, and tax rates with existing Katana records

    • If no match exists, Katana will automatically create a new product, customer, or tax rate

  • Sync inventory levels from Katana β†’ Walmart Marketplace

You can also apply the same approach to other apps available through Extensiv.

How it works

  • In Extensiv, the order destination is called a WMS (Warehouse Management System). Katana is set as the WMS and acts as the source of truth for inventory.

  • Walmart Marketplace is set as a Cart (Order Source). Extensiv imports orders, customer data, and products from Walmart Marketplace into Katana, and syncs stock levels back to Walmart.

Setting up Walmart Marketplace with Katana

Step 1. Create an Extensiv account

Step 2. Connect Katana as WMS

  • Click Grant Us API Access, sign in to your Katana account, and confirm.

  • After successful authorization, click OK, then Test WMS Connection.

  • If the test succeeds, click Save.

Step 3. Add Walmart as a cart

  • In Extensiv, go to Carts > New Setup > Walmart.

Step 4. Generate Walmart API keys

  • Open the Walmart Developer Portal in a new tab.

  • Select your Walmart account type and log in with seller credentials.

  • Generate an API key, then copy the Client ID and Client Secret into the Extensiv New Walmart Setup screen.
