Connect Katana with Amazon FBA via Extensiv Integration Manager
The Amazon FBA integration connects Katana with Amazon Seller Central using Extensiv Integration Manager, automating key workflows.
With this setup, you can:
Import sales orders from Amazon → Katana.
Import order-related product data from Amazon → Katana (if no match is found).
This guide is for Fulfilled-by-Amazon (FBA) orders. If you use a seller-fulfilled workflow, follow this guide
How it works
Extensiv is an order management integration platform that connects Amazon Seller Central with Katana. It allows you to:
Download FBA orders from Amazon into Katana.
Sync products (if no matches exist).
Manage inventory between your Katana warehouse(s) and FBA stock.
Note: Extensiv does not update the delivery status in Katana. You must manually mark orders as Delivered in Katana once shipped.
Setting Up the Integration
1. Create an Amazon Cart Connection in Extensiv
Log in to Extensiv Integration Manager.
Go to Carts → +New Setup.
Select Amazon from the list and choose your Amazon Marketplace.
Each Amazon Marketplace requires a separate Cart connection.
2. Enter API Information
Fill in the required Amazon API credentials:
Seller ID → Public ID for your Amazon storefront.
MWS Auth Token → Private API key for connecting Amazon MWS apps.
Follow Amazon Zone instructions for details.
3. Adjust Sync Settings
Order Download → Set how frequently Amazon orders are imported into Katana.
Batch importing is not supported (multiple Amazon orders cannot be merged into one Katana order).
Shipment Upload → Defines how fulfillment updates sync between Katana and Amazon.
Inventory Upload → Choose how often Katana stock levels are pushed to Amazon.
4. Configure Amazon cart setup fields
Key options to review:
Item SKU Field → Defines which field Extensiv uses for SKUs.
Order Type → Select Fulfilled-by-Amazon.
To import both FBA and seller-fulfilled orders, create two separate Cart connections.
Translate Item’s Code → Extensiv can map SKUs to aliases before sending them to Katana.
SKU vs. ASIN →
Extensiv can load either the Amazon ASIN or SKU into Katana’s variant code.
Your warehouse must provide the Amazon SKU, since Amazon only supports inventory syncing via SKU.
5. Configure Katana WMS information
Warehouse → Choose the Katana location where Amazon orders will be imported.
FBA Stock Location (Optional) →
Create a separate Katana location to represent FBA stock.
Transfer inventory between your main warehouse and the FBA location to keep stock levels aligned.
Auto Create Missing Katana Products →
Yes → Extensiv creates new products in Katana when no match is found.
Note: Products are added as new products, not variants.
Overwrite Customer Info →
Set FBA orders to be grouped under one customer in Katana.
Amazon does not provide complete customer names or addresses, so orders must link to a single customer record.
6. Test & save
Click Test at the bottom of the setup screen.
If successful, click OK to save your changes.
Integration is ready!
Amazon FBA orders and related product data will now import into Katana.
Inventory adjustments between your Katana warehouse(s) and FBA stock can be managed using multiple locations.
Orders must be manually updated to Delivered in Katana once shipped.
Notes & limitations
Extensiv does not sync delivery status. Orders must be marked as Delivered manually in Katana.
Each Amazon Marketplace requires its own Cart connection.
Extensiv cannot create product variants—new products are added as standalone items.
Inventory syncing is only possible via SKU, not ASIN.
