Connect your Adobe Commerce (previously called Magento) store to Katana via Extensiv Integration Manager
Overview
The Adobe Commerce integration connects your online store to Katana, saving you time by keeping orders, stock, and fulfillment in sync.
With the integration, you can:
Send sales orders (SOs) from Adobe Commerce to Katana.
Sync fulfillment updates from Katana back to Adobe Commerce.
Push inventory levels from Katana to Adobe Commerce.
Note: Only Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) is supported. For older versions, refer to this guide.
How it works
In Extensiv, Katana is set up as a Warehouse Management System (WMS) — acting as the source of truth for inventory.
Magento 2 is set as a Cart (order source). Extensiv imports SOs, product info, and customer data into Katana, while pushing Katana stock levels back to Magento 2.
When tracking info is added to a Katana SO and the order is marked Packed or Delivered, Extensiv sends the tracking info and status update to Magento 2.
Important: Tracking info must be added in Katana for fulfillment sync to work.
Setup steps
Log in to Extensiv (or create an account).
In Extensiv, go to Carts → New Setup → Magento2.
On the New Magento 2 Setup screen, click Grant Us API Access.
You’ll be redirected to your Magento Admin:
Log in and authorize Extensiv Integration Manager
Extensiv Integration Manager needs to be set up as a New Integration on the Adobe Commerce side
Confirm the connection and then return to the original Extensiv page, where you will be informed if the connection was successful as a New Integration.
Return to Extensiv. You’ll see a confirmation if the connection was successful.
Adjust your Services and Magento2 Cart Setup as needed.
Click Test to verify the connection, then OK to save.

Inventory options
Sync Inventory for Product Type → Choose Extensiv to sync all product types.

Select Katana warehouse location → Define which location’s stock syncs to Magento.
Product handling
Auto Create Missing Katana Products → If enabled, Extensiv creates new products in Katana when no SKU match is found.
By default, this is off, preventing duplicates when SKUs differ between systems.
New products created this way are added as standalone items, not variants.
Other settings

Sync Inventory For Product Type: - to save time, choose Extensiv to sync inventory levels to Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) for all product types.
