Connect Amazon with Katana using Extensiv Integration Manager

The Amazon Seller Central integration lets you connect Katana with Amazon via Extensiv Integration Manager, automating sales and inventory workflows.

With this setup, you can:

  • Import Sales Orders and customer data from Amazon → Katana.

  • Sync inventory levels from Katana → Amazon.

  • Import product data from Amazon → Katana (if no matching product exists).

Note: This guide is for Seller-Fulfilled orders. If you’re using Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA), see this guide

How It Works with Extensiv

Extensiv is an integration platform designed for order management. It connects Amazon Seller Central to Katana in just a few minutes, handling:

  • Order downloads – importing orders from Amazon into Katana.

  • Shipment updates – syncing fulfillment status from Katana back to Amazon.

  • Inventory uploads – sending Katana stock levels to Amazon.

Setting Up the Integration

1. Create an Amazon Cart Connection in Extensiv

  1. Log in to Extensiv Integration Manager.

  2. Go to Carts → +New Setup.

+ New Setup button in Extensiv for setting up an Amazon cart

  3. Select Amazon from the list and choose your Amazon Marketplace.

    • Each Amazon Marketplace requires a separate Cart connection.

2. Enter API information

Fill in the required Amazon API credentials:

  • Seller ID → Public ID identifying your Amazon storefront.

  • MWS Auth Token → Private API key for connecting Amazon MWS apps.

Follow Amazon Zone instructions for details.

3. Adjust service settings

  • Order Download → How often to sync new orders from Amazon.

  • Shipment Upload → Sync fulfillment updates from Katana to Amazon.

    • If a shipping platform is connected directly to Katana → status updates sync automatically.

    • If a shipping platform is connected directly to Amazon → you must manually update Katana.

  • Inventory Upload → When Katana stock levels should be sent to Amazon.

4. Configure Amazon cart setup fields

Key options to review:

  • Item SKU Field → Defines which field Extensiv uses for SKUs.

  • Prime Orders → Option to load only non-Prime orders.

  • Order Type → Select Seller-fulfilled.

    • To import both seller-fulfilled and FBA orders, set up two Cart connections.

  • Translate Item’s Code → Extensiv can map SKUs to aliases before sending to Katana.

    • Uses the default WMS Master SKU for matching.

  • Warehouse → Choose your Katana location for order imports.

  • Auto Create Missing Katana Products

    • Yes → Extensiv creates new products in Katana if no match is found.

    • Note: Products are added as new products, not variants.

  • Overwrite Customer Info → Choose whether to overwrite customer details (for example, FBA orders can be set to "No").

5. Test & save

  1. Click Test at the bottom of the setup screen.

  2. If successful, click OK to save your changes.

Your integration is ready!

  • Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders will now import into Katana.

  • Inventory levels will sync back to Amazon automatically.

  • Fulfillment statuses sync from Katana → Amazon (unless shipments originate in Amazon).

Notes & Limitations

  • For FBA orders, use the dedicated FBA integration guide.

  • Extensiv cannot create product variants — new items are added as standalone products.

  • If the shipment originates in Amazon, you must manually mark the order as fulfilled in Katana.
