Control who can make stock changes in Katana to protect inventory accuracy and data integrity.

What this permission does

The Manage stock permission determines who can change inventory data. Granting this permission ensures that only trusted team members can adjust stock levels, safety stock, and bin locations.

This helps maintain accurate inventory records and prevents unauthorized edits.

What users with this permission can do

A user with Manage stock permission can:

Default behavior

  • The account Owner always has this permission.

  • Other Users have it enabled by default, but it can be disabled.

How to enable or disable this permission

For new users

  1. Invite a new user.
