Managing services in Katana involves editing, duplicating, or deleting them, similar to handling products or materials. The process is straightforward—services are edited via their Service card, where changes affect all associated data. Duplicating a service copies all its details, while deleting it permanently removes it, affecting any orders that included the service.

Editing a service

To edit a service, find it in Katana, click on it to open its Service card, and edit the fields on this card as you see fit. These changes will then affect this service going forward.

Duplicating and/or deleting a service

To duplicate or delete a service, open its Service card and click on the 3-dots in the top right. This will display a Duplicate and Delete option.

  • A deleted service can't be restored. Any pre-existing orders that contain this service will show it as crossed-out.

  • A duplicated service will contain all of the same details as the original, but "Copy" will be added to the end of the service's name.
