Disabling item batch tracking will remove all associated batch information for that item. To preserve historical data, it is recommended to export the batch information before turning off batch tracking. This ensures that important tracking data is not lost and can be referenced as needed for inventory management and compliance purposes.
If you enabled batch tracking for an item and created batch numbers, disabling batch tracking will delete any existing batch tracking information from Katana for that item.
